FRONTERA REP @ YOUR INSTITUTION

UTEP theatre major Abel Garcia in Frontera Rep's REENTRY.  UTEP faculty Ross Fleming (set design), Crystal Herman (costume design) and Hideaki Tsutui (lighting design) led the design team. Frontera Rep's Kathryn Smith-McGlynn directed.

Frontera Rep partners with educational institutions to enrich the academic experience for students while engaging a culturally diverse audience and talented regionally-based artists.

Projection Master Workshop

with media designer Alex Koch

 

Frontera Rep hosted a Projection Master Workshop for students in the UTEP Department of Theatre and Dance led by HIGHWAY 47 projection designer Alex Koch. Alex led students in a week long intensive. He is Managing Partner of Imaginary Media Artists in New York City and designs media for theater, dance and film projects internationally.

Co-Founding Artistic Director and Executive Producer Kathryn Smith-McGlynn headlined as Hester Prynne in this brilliant, unusual adaptation of the classic novel. Kathryn worked alongside Department of Theatre and Drama student candidates as part of an education initiative with UTEP that gives students the opportunity to work with professional Equity actors.
